5K Run/Walk on May 17, 2020

The Christopher Rommel Scholarship Fund is hosting the 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk at Neshaminy State Park in Bensalem, PA. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Christopher Rommel Scholarship Fund that helps a student at New Foundations Charter School attend College. The 5K Run / Walk will take place on May 17th, 2020 at 10:00 am

Not sure you are ready to run a 5k? There will also be a 1 mile walk option. Entry fee is the same for either the 5k run or 1 mile walk since all proceeds benefit the Christopher Rommel Scholarship Fund.

What to know

Race starts at 10:00 am on May 17th, 2020
Bib pickup will be prior to race, starting at 9:00 am
Online Entry is to May 10, 2020
- Adult 18 and Over is $25.00
- Youth under 18 is $15.00
Day of Registration
- Adult 18 and Over is $30.00
- Youth under 18 is $20.00

Post Race BBQ

After the awards are done, make sure you stay for the Post Race Hot Dog BBQ. This will be a great opportunity to relax and enjoy the beauty of Neshaminy State Park. A pavilion will be reserved for the runners and their families, which is located next to the children’s play area and volley ball court.

5K WEATHER POLICY

The safety of our participants is the most important thing and if any threatening weather conditions are present on the day of the event, the event may be delayed, canceled or rescheduled for a date in the future. If threatening weather conditions force cancellation of the event, no refunds can be provided, since funds were already spent in preparation for race day. But, any procedures from the event will still go to the Christopher Rommel Scholarship fund.
